Delight yourself in the Lord.

This is a verse I've been going back to a lot lately when I just can't seem to handle something on my own, and God reminds me of a promise He made.

Psalm 37:4
"Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart."

God brought me this verse a long time ago, but not until about 4 months ago did I really cling to this verse. I realized what God was trying to show me. He wanted me to know that some people may tear down your dreams and the desires you have deep in your heart, but God loves you, and He KNOWS the desires of your heart. He wants you to delight yourself in Him, and He will follow through, and give you the desires of YOUR heart.

God wants you. He wants everyone of you. Never think you're not beautiful enough to be in God's presents, because you are. You're beautiful in His eyes! You are at the ago of a newborn baby, and you are at the ago of 98 years old. :) He sees your beauty even when the world around you doesn't. Then again, no one is perfect!

I know of some days where God has to be the one to hold me up because the world around me is just tearing me down. No one can make me feel better except for my Jesus, and that is when He follows through, and takes that longing out of my heart, and fills my heart with His love. If any of you have ever experienced a night where it's just you and your Jesus, and you fall asleep completely content in His arms, then you know just how AMAZING it is! :) I absolutely LOVE those nights.

When you're not having the greatest day of your life, CLING to God, cling to the only one that can truly make you feel better. Yeah you could cling to the material things in life but that feeling only stays for a bit, but the love you get from Our God stays FOREVER! -He wants YOU! He wants to call you His again.

I'm sure when the world is pulling you down it's not the easiest thing to cling to God, and keep your faith in Him, but trust me it'll be worth it in the end because again I say..."Delight yourself in the LORD and He will give you the desires of your heart!" If you stand up for God, the eternal reward will be endless. Let Him be your ROCK, because after all material things only last for a little while and then they fade, and you're left empty and crying again. But if you cling to God, you're always filled with a reminder of God's eternal love! :)

God's love is endless.
